Description
Atom probe tomography reconstructed data from APT specimen OREX-803470-101, analysed in laser-assisted mode. All valid APT data is in included, using an extended (Epos) data format that allows generation of alternative spatial reconstructions if required. This data set contains a signifcant amount of 69Ga contamination near the specimen surface due to ion implantation during specimen preparation with a monoisotopic 69Ga+ focussed ion beam. Shortly before the end of the analysis, approximately 90% through the total acquisition, the laser pulse energy was increased from 0.03 to 0.05 nJ, the pulse frequency was increased from 125 to 200 kHz, and the detection rate was increased from 0.008 to 0.01 ions/pulse. A small uptrend in the voltage around that time indicated the potentail proximity of a higher-field mineral phase, and the running conditions were adjusted accordingly. However, the specimen fractured shortly after these adjustments were made. The data indicates a pyrrhotite mineral phase containing abundant fluid inclusions. A mass range definition file is included with all identified mass peaks.
